It is this strain that was deposited in the American Type Culture Collection on May 1979 as Pythium oligandrum No. 31, CCF 1417 - ATCC 38472

And that was referred to in the Final Rule issued on May 16, 2007 in the Environmental Agency Exemption from the Requirement of a Tolerance as Pythium oligandrum DV 74.
